Dear Brethren,
Masons throughout the world have one very special thing in common. We all believe in a "Supreme Being" or a "Great Creator." No matter what religion a Brother practices he is still a Brother. As Master of the Lodge, and as a Master Mason, we are obligated to recognize and respect the beliefs of every Brother in any Lodge as well as in our own.
As Master Masons we should try to sculpture ourselves in the likeness of whom we believe. That "Ever Seeing Eye" that watches over us and directs us to do the right thing throughout our lives. The sense to know right from wrong and good from evil.
In our lives, sometimes a special event or a special person can change the way we live and what we believe in. Sometimes that individual can "change the world." It is up to us to decide if it is the right thing to do and if we should follow their lead. Recently, we have lost an individual. Not a Master of our Lodge, not a Master of Grand Lodge, but a Master of the World. A world leader no matter what or whom you believe in. Pope John Paul II will be greatly missed.
Fraternally,
Edward T. Gasior
Worshipful Master
