Dear Brethren,

What is "light?" It means different things to different people. You have heard the phrase "I see the light," "you light up my life," "the light at the end of the tunnel" and so on. It is something that we look forward to experiencing and enjoying. We, as Free and Accepted Masons, have our own meaning of the word. Masonic Light is the power of Masonry. It is what we should spread throughout our daily lives to people we meet, as well as in the Lodge. It is that invisible inner spirit that we should shine onto others. The spirit of Masonry. Let them see how it enriches our lives and they may want to see the "Light" for themselves.
