Master's Message
June 2002

Dear Brethren,

As we now enter the month of June, we set aside a special day of the month to honor our "fathers." A "father" according to Webster is the male parent, an ancestor, an originator or the oldest member of an institution or community.

The way I see it, every member of our Lodge is a father in one way or another. Whether we have siblings or not, each and every one of us has "fathered" this Lodge. We have made it what it is today. For seventy-five years we have steered it in the right direction and it is still going. We have "raised" many children throughout the years. Some have stayed home and others have moved away. Some of us have been Masters, some have been officers, and others stayed on the sidelines and supported the Lodge in their own way. No matter what, we all played an important part in the development of our fraternity. Some of us for over fifty years!

Now, like a good father, we have to take care of our family. New brethren have started their journey to become "like us" and more are on the way. Let us all lead them as we would a child, one who watches and imitates his father. They do not know what to do or where to go. They need the proper guidance from all of us. Let us lead and show them the way. Let us BE THERE for them.

To all my brethren, have a Happy Fathers' Day.

Fraternally Yours,

Edward Gasior W.M.
