Dear Brethren,
If it weren't for all the red hearts hanging around, I wouldn't believe it is already February. I thought that this year would be easier being my "second time around." But I was mistaken. We are going to be very busy. So far we have raised a new Brother to the "sublime" and have a few more waiting at different stages. I was glad to see everyone participating and helping out any way they can. My sincerest thanks to all the past Masters for their help with the M.M. Degree. It was impressive to see that much experience in one room at the same time! I would also like to thank the brethren from A.H.W.R.S. of Lyndhurst and Nutley Lodge for assisting us with the degree work.
This month is busy with the Official Visit and a Fellowcraft Degree. And somewhere we have to sneak in a rehearsal! Newark Lodge #7 will be celebrating their 175th Anniversary, which we should support, and then we have the Craftsmen's Club meeting toward the end of the month. Not to mention, the D.L.I. in the middle of the month, and the spaghetti dinner, and the Masonic Club meetings, and etc. etc.
Brethren, Masonry is a full time job. Not just for myself, but for ALL. It is a great fraternity now, and always will be. If YOU wish for it to continue and prosper, YOU must support it with your presence. You do not have to attend everything all of the time, just some of the things some of the time.
And lastly a very happy Valentine's Day wish to your "special someone."
Fraternally,
Edward Gasior W.M.
