Dear Brethren,
We are now entering the month of March. Except for the winter coming to a close, it may seem to be a quiet time. Besides St. Patrick's Day, the corned beef and cabbage day, there really is not too much going on. Well, I have to tell you, nothing could be farther from the truth.
In just a few days we will be having our first District Renewal. We hope to attract the interest of other good men into joining our Fraternity. If all goes well this will happen. And then it's up to you, the sponsor, to encourage each prospective at and after our evening. Hopefully we will gain a few good men.
Spreading the Masonic Word should continue in our everyday life. People ask questions about us and we should give them the proper information. They acquire interest in different ways beyond just talking to them. I myself had my first experience in masonry while working with a longtime friend. I never knew he was a Mason. We were sitting together one morning at work and I noticed a petition on top of his blueprints. I asked what it was and what is this masonry thing all about. He gave me some interesting facts and a new Mason was born.
So brethren, go out and spread the word about our Fraternity. Be it loud and clear, or in a subtle way like a 'low whisper.' You can never tell what the result might be.
