Master's Message
January 2001

Dear Brethren,

I would like to take this tim to sincerely thank every brother for his support at my election. I would also like to especially thank my installing officers, W.B. Bill Farhy, W.B. Steve Melton, W.B. Hank Way and W.B. Bob McLachlin for doing a fabulous job at my installation. I was very impressed. A special thanks to W.B. Hal Fischer for "walking" me through all of this. I'd be lost without him. It was really great to have family, friends and the brethren in Lodge all together to see me through and I hope everyone enjoyed the evening as much as I did. It was good to see some brothers who haven't been in Lodge in a while. I hope your attendance continues throughout this new year because you are surely missed by all. I was happy to see such a good showing of newly raised brethren from now only our Lodge but others as well.

I have come a long way in a relatively short time. After being raised, I went into the Junior Deacons chair. From then on I kept moving up the line every year. Now I am very proud to be the Worshipful Master of this Lodge and will try to fill the shoes of every previous Master that has come before me with the hope that I can do as well as they did. I have a great staff of officers and many helpful white apron brothers who always enjoy working together.

We also have a lot to accomplish this year. The District is having an Open House-Renewal in March. All Lodges will be participating in this. We are also going to do this on an individual Lodge level soon. New petitions are coming in and we will have to get moving on them as fast as possible. New blood keeps Masonry alive with new ideas and most of all new energy. Something we always welcome and can always use.

To my Officers, my Committee members, my brethren, my family and friends, a very Happy and most of all, Healthy new year. And thank all of you once again for everything.

Edward Gasior
Worshipful Master
