Dear Brethren,
Winter is finally over. Trees and flowers will start to sprout. Days will be longer and weather will be warmer. It's a wonderful time to sit back and relax. It's also a good time to sit back and think. Think, what is to come in the next month or so.
First, we will be attending Grand Lodge and voting for brothers whom we wish to represent us throughout the ensuing year. Those who are eligible to vote should make their choice wisely. Support the brother who you feel will be the best person for the job. He may not necessarily be your best friend, he may not be your lodge brother, but he should be the individual that will represent us the best. So brethren, vote with heart, we will all benefit.
Secondly, it's a good time to think about instruction. As in "Lodge of Instruction," we all need a little brushing up to do. Some of us were officers years ago and haven't participated in a while. The opportunity to stay on track and refresh our memory is always there.
This month we will have our official visit by the District Deputy Grand Master. The skills of our officers and myself will be put to the test, and we will do our best as usual. Any questions? Well, we have a District Lodge of Instruction every month. It's an open house for ritual. Some of our officers and myself regularly attend. It would be nice to see some newly raised brothers as well. All questions you may have are always answered. And if that is not enough, in June, our lodge will be hosting the Grand Lodge of Insturcation. It would be very beneficial for all to attend and keep us up to date and educated, because the more you do it the easier it gets.
